Liturgy Lab

Check out what we're doing at Awakenings on Sunday mornings with the teenagers at Truro. It's about the liturgy and explaning its content and meaning.

I could see this being adapted to other ages and for other settings beyond just youth ministry. Have a look and let me know what you think!

  2. Abram - love the Liturgy Lab idea. Spectacular! Considering Truro attracts a lot of adult 'converts' to Anglicanism, I really think a Liturgy 101 class is needed. At my church up at Gordon (you may have visited there with Liz Green - Christ Church in Hamilton), there was a liturgical practice highlighted each week in the worship bulletin. I found it really helpful.

  3. I like the bulletin idea - perhaps this is something we could add to the TFN, what our students learned during "Sunday School." Okay, so that doesn't sound as cool as it would be, but I think it would be a lot of fun. Something to read during the sermon... I mean announcements.
